Fermented over 4 months in concrete tanks. The Merlot was aged in barriques, 70% new and the Sangiovese in large tonneaux, both of French oak for 18 months.
Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate scored this 96 points saying “This was an iconic vintage”.
